Christmas Gifts for the Handyman in Your Life

Sharing is caring!

Shopping for the man in your life can be tricky. This is especially true if you have a man that isn’t giving up any hints. If the man you’re shopping for enjoys fixing things around the house and DIY projects, there are some gifts that he is going to love. These aren’t the gifts that home improvement stores try to push at you as being the latest and greatest gadget. These are gifts he’s actually going to want. Let’s look at some awesome (and affordable) Christmas gifts for the handyman in your life.

Bucket Boss Parachute Bag

If his workshop is a bit of a mess, this Bucket Boss Parachute Bag is a great gift. There are 13 exterior pockets and 6 interior pockets for helping his corral his most used items. The rip cord allows him to close up the bag and a handle allows him to easily transport it. The bags can also be stacked on top of each other inside of a bucket for storage. The wide interior pockets are great for storing and sorting screws, nails, and other small items that he needs to easily access. The outer pockets are great for storing small tools. At less than $13 (less than $10 each if you purchase a two-pack), this is a very budget-friendly Christmas gift.

Black & Decker Snakelight

An oldie, but certainly a goodie. This is a gift that has been given for decades and with good reason. The Black & Decker Snakelight is a truly useful gift for the handyman in your life. He can wrap the light around a pipe when working under the sink, twist the light so that it’s pointed precisely at the project he’s working on, etc. The model I’m sharing in this article has the advantage of being rechargeable. No more batteries to deal with and it also has LED lights. At less than $40, this is another affordable gift that he’ll love.

MagnoGrip Magnetic Wristband

When you’re up on a ladder, it can be hard to juggle tools and small items like screws or nails. This is where a magnetic wristband comes in handy. He can attach the small items to his wristband so that he has one less item to juggle. The band is even strong enough to hold small/light tools. Best of all, this gift costs less than $11. If you’re looking for stocking stuffer ideas, this one is a great option.

Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier

Also known as a multi-tool, this is a great pocket tool that has several tools your handyman may need for a number of projects. Pliers, a saw, file, knives, screwdriver, and more. The tool contains 11 different tools and even has a lanyard ring, though most men will just pop this in their pocket. This tool is a lot like the Swiss Army Knife but has the advantage of a pair of heavy duty needle nose pliers. This tool can be picked up for around $25.

DeWalt Dominator Safety Glasses

Last, but not least, make sure he stays safe by getting him a pair of safety glasses he’ll actually wear. These safety glasses are not only comfortable to wear, thanks to rubber non-slip grips, but they come in a variety of colors and look awesome. The larger lenses also provider better protection. The lenses even block out 99.9% of UV rays. This is another gift that would make an excellent stocking stuffer. Depending on color, you can get these glasses for roughly $6 to $8.

Christmas doesn’t have to be filled with stress. Instead of buying the latest tool and gadgets advertised on TV (which are usually crap), why not buy him something he’ll actually want?
